Event description

Due to monsoon low-pressure over northwest Bay and adjoining north Odisha-West Bengal coast, heavy (44-88mm/24hrs) to very heavy (>88mm/24hrs) rainfall is likely to occur at places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet Divisions during next 72 hours commencing 1300 BST of 05 July 2026.Temporary waterlogging may occur in Dhaka and Chattogram cities. Landslide risk exists in hilly areas of Chattogram Division.

Instructions

Residents in low-lying areas should take precautionary measures against possible waterlogging and flash floods. People in hilly areas of Chattogram should remain alert for landslides.
