Event description

Due to Monsoon Depression over Southwestern part of Bangladesh-West Bengal Coast and adjoining Northwest Bay, heavy (44-88mm/24hours) to very heavy (>88mm/24hours) rainfall is likely to occur at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during next 48 hours commencing from 08 AM today (17.08.2026)

Instructions

Due to heavy to very heavy rainfall, temporary waterlogging may occur at places over these regions and landslides may also occur at places over the hilly regions of Chattogram division. Residents in low-lying areas should take precaution against waterlogging, and residents in hilly areas of Chattogram division should remain alert for possible landslides.
