Event Description

Under the influence of active monsoon, heavy (44-88mm/24hours) to very heavy (>88mm/24hours) rainfall is likely to occur at places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during next 48 hours commencing from 03 PM of 08.07.2026. Due to heavy to very heavy rainfall, temporary waterlogging may occur at places over Chattogram metropolitan areas and landslide may occur at places over the hilly regions of Chattogram division.

Residents in low-lying areas should take precautionary measures against possible waterlogging and flash floods. People in hilly areas of Chattogram division should remain alert for landslides.
