Due to active Southwest Monsoon, heavy (44-88mm/24hours) to very heavy (>88mm/24hours) rainfall is likely to occur at places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions during next 24 hours commencing 09 AM of 06.08.2026. Due to very heavy rainfall, landslide may occur at places over the hilly regions of Chattogram division.

Residents in low-lying areas should take precautionary measures against possible waterlogging and flash floods. People in hilly areas of Chattogram division should remain alert for landslides and be prepared to evacuate if necessary
